Vinification
To ensure the utmost quality, our grapes were handpicked during the early morning hours and delicately transported to the winery in 15kg crates. Upon arrival, they were meticulously cooled to a temperature of 4°C before undergoing destemming and crushing. The resulting juice was then carefully stored for a period of two weeks at a consistently chilly 1°C, allowing for optimal conditions prior to the commencement of fermentation.

Winemaking
The fermentation process unfolded within tanks over a span of three weeks. Subsequently, the wine underwent racking and was left to rest on its fine lees for an extended period of 11 months. This patient maturation process culminated in the wine being filtered and bottled.

Taste
Presenting a blush color, our rosé captivates the senses with its enticing bouquet of floral tones and cherry aromas. Upon tasting, the wine is well-balanced, crisp, with a refreshing palate that leaves a lasting impression long after the initial sip.

Art
Furthermore, our labels draw inspiration from the renowned South African abstract artist, Walter Battiss. Each bottle proudly features one of the captivating ‘Walking Feathers’ depicted in his distinctive artwork.

Experience the artistry and finesse embodied in every bottle of our rosé.
