A Year in Rosé: Pink Valley’s 2025 Highlights and a Look Ahead

As we reach the end of another year on the slopes of the Helderberg, we find ourselves reflecting on the moments, milestones, and memories that shaped 2025 at Pink Valley. From a Rosé that travelled the world to a refreshed home base on the farm, it’s been a year filled with growth, good food, and great company. And with harvest just around the corner, there’s plenty to look forward to in 2026 too.

A Year Painted in Pink

If 2025 had a flavour, it would be chilled Rosé enjoyed under warm skies. Our 2024 vintage was poured and appreciated across the globe, including some incredible moments shared in Dubai. Closer to home, our Pink Valley Restaurant saw more friendly faces than ever, and we celebrated our sixth birthday with gratitude for everyone who has supported us along the way.

We also gave our Tasting Lounge and Wine Shop a well-deserved facelift. It wasn’t about reinventing the space but enhancing it — fresh energy, warmer flow, and a look that feels even more like home. The response from our guests has been overwhelmingly positive, and we couldn’t be happier.

Looking Ahead: Harvest 2026

July brought record rainfall, the kind that soaks through your boots, and it turned out to be exactly what the vineyards needed. Our cover crops thrived in the wet conditions and pushed real strength back into the soils.

From there, the growing season settled into a steady rhythm with mild days and consistent conditions. Flowering was clean and even, and berry set has been solid. The canopies are carrying a healthy amount of fruit, giving us a quiet confidence in the quality of the upcoming crop.

As we wrap up the last stretch of 2025, our thoughts are firmly on the season ahead. Harvest is around the corner — our favourite time of year — and we’re genuinely excited to see how the 2026 vintage develops.

A Seat at the Pink Valley Restaurant

The Pink Valley Restaurant remains one of our favourite places to welcome guests — a space where meals unfold slowly, conversations deepen, and families settle in for relaxed time together.

Nestled between the vineyards, the restaurant offers generous outdoor seating on the patio and lawns, along with a kids’ play area within clear view of the tables. Indoors, you’ll find a warm, contemporary space with a fireplace for cooler days, free WiFi, secure parking, and a designated smoking area. While we love pets, we are not pet-friendly.

The menu includes tapas, individual dishes, and our popular four-course Potluck Feast for those who prefer to sit back and let the food come to them. The wine list features both local and international wines, along with cocktails and beers. And yes — the burger is still as good as ever.
