Winemaker’s Notes
Our rosé is a blend of Sangiovese (85%) and Grenache (15%). Appearance: Light blush color.
Aromas: floral tones, cherry, stone fruit and a hint of citrus.
Tasting: Well-balanced, crisp, with a refreshing acidity and lingering finish.

Our Vineyards
With our production exclusively dedicated to a single Rosé-styled wine, a first for South Africa, our viticultural efforts are entirely focused on cultivating grapes specifically for Rosé winemaking. Our vineyards are farmed organically.

In The Cellar
Grapes are harvested by hand and delivered to the cellar in 25kg creates during the early morning hours. Once packed grapes are cooled to 4°C before destemming and crushing. The resulting juice is kept in stainless steel tanks for 2-weeks, prior to a 3-week fermentation. The final blend ages on fine lees for a further 11-months, in combination of cement and stainless steel before being bottled.

About Our Labels
We draw inspiration from the renowned South African abstract artist, Walter Battiss, showcasing the ‘Walking Feathers’ as the center piece on our labels.

Experience the artistry and finesse embodied in every bottle of our rosé.
